The Wisconsin Farms Oral History Project is less than one year old and growing rapidly. We are eager for help building this project - whether you are a student, faculty, or a community member.
We are seeking potential "narrators" to be interviewed for our oral history project. Those narrators are drawn from a long list of Wisconsin residents, natives and anyone with Wisconsin connections who has a story to tell about farming, food production, land, gardening, rural life, urban food and farming issues, or race, ethnicity and cultural diversity in the state.
If you or anyone you know would like to be considered for an interview, please contact us.
In addition to interviews, we engage in community outreach, farm forum events, archival production, historical research and media production. Opportunities are abundant in each of these areas and we welcome all who are interested at any level to reach out to us
